Soon Skincare Pumpkin Enzyme Resurfacing Mask

Objective
After we designed their serum packaging, Soon Skincare came back to us to design their packaging for the new Pumpkin Enzyme Resurfacing Mask. This packaging needed to be reflective of the hero ingredient, but still feel on-brand and cohesive with the rest of their products. The greatest challenge was to ensure that the pumpkin aesthetic not feel childish, but rather align with the high-end, sophisticated presence of the brand.
Solution
To represent the pumpkin ingredient in the mask we utilized a color palette of two shades of orange. We used wispy brushstrokes, reminiscent of Korean calligraphy, that is used throughout Soon’s branding. We incorporated a pumpkin icon, in line with the icons that Soon uses on other products. The brushstrokes, icon, and metallic gold helped integrate the mask seamlessly with the rest of their products, while the gold also elevated the packaging. The mask is on pre-sale and will be available to the public shortly.
